Getting the Word Out to the Public and Professionals

For those of you who are interested in spreading the Depression Recovery Education news, here are some suggestions from a career Television Manager.

- Go VIRAL- That means we start blogging and using the web--and the word starts spreading.

- If several people will start blogs and tell all their friends and class members about them, the word will start to spread.

- On our blogs, explain our story. Why did we get interested in these programs? What is our involvement in the Mental Health arena? Etc.

- Keep the blogs to under 500 words. Put appropriate pictures on the blogs to add interest. Remember that it is open to the public, so do the blog accordingly.

- About every 4th blog, write on a current topic that has some controversy if you want to get more readership to your blog.

- Know our objectives: To provide educational opportunities for professionals in Utah, and to educate the Utah public about Depression and Anxiety healing (and for Jacob, about ADD and ADHD).

- When our under-structure is sound in Utah, we want to appear on local talk shows, radio stations, and newspapers so that the public can have access to the program.

- Let's Do This!!!!
